NOTICE

The Towns County Commissioners Office will hold a monthly meeting on every 3rd Tuesday at 5:30pm in the Towns County Courtroom located at 48 River Street, Hiawassee, GA 30546.

• Notice of County Meeting:  October 26 @ 9:30am

Towns County will hold a called county meeting on Thursday, October 26th @ 9:30am in the Towns County Temporary Courthouse and Administrative Offices located at 900 Main Street, Hiawassee, GA 30546, which will include on the agenda setting the millage rate for the 2023 tax digest as well as other county business as may become necessary.  

The Towns County CVB (Conventions and Visitors Bureau) Board will meet monthly on the 2nd Tuesday at 8:00am in the Towns County Civic Center located at 67 Lakeview Circle, Hiawassee, GA 30546.

The Towns County Planning Commission will meet on the 3rd Monday at 6pm as needed at the Towns County Civic Center located at 67 Lakeview Circle, Hiawassee, GA 30546.
