The 911 Mapping Department assigns 911 addresses to residential and commercial structures. An approved building permit must be issued and the driveway in place in order for a 911 address to be assigned.
A Towns County E911 Address Application form must be completed and filed with the 911 Mapping Department. Please put your assigned building permit number on the form. Upon receipt of a request, the 911 Mapping Department will contact the owner to view the property and assign a 911 address for the property.
911 Mapping utilizes GIS (Geographical Information System) to set all GPS points for the 911 Center.
