The 911 Mapping Department assigns 911 addresses to residential and commercial structures. An approved building permit must be issued, the driveway in place, and the footer inspection complete in order for a 911 address to be assigned.
A Towns County E911 Address Application form must be completed and filed with the 911 Mapping Department. Please put your assigned building permit number on the form. Upon receipt of a request, the 911 Mapping Department will contact the owner to view the property and assign a 911 address for the property.
911 Mapping utilizes GIS (Geographical Information System) to set all GPS points for the 911 Center.
